Hi…I am Heidi Karrer. This will be my 26th year of teaching! I received my Bachelor’s from Texas State University.  My husband and I have 3 incredible sons and they are all teachers and coach high school basketball. We also have 3 amazing daughter-in-laws . We have three absolutely adorable granddaughters we adore. We love spending time with family, traveling, and watching sports. I enjoy reading, listening to music and love cheering on the Spurs and my boys’ basketball teams!  

I am so thrilled to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year! I am so looking forward to having your child in my class!  It’s going to be an amazing year filled with laughter, creativity, growth and learning.   I have high expectations for your child and will do all I can to help them achieve their maximum potential socially, emotionally, and academically. My passion is helping students grow and develop their love of  learning.  I’m honored and blessed to be your child’s 5th grade teacher!
